Mimi in Chinatown

So it's been a while. The past few weeks have been extremely busy for us. We had three dental school interviews three weeks in a row which cut a lot of school time out and thus made some serious catching up to do. but here is the review:

1. Indiana University - We got to stay with Elliott and Ginger which was a blast. Had fun carving pumpkins, playing the States game, and drawing pictures. The people at the school were great, they had a 2 day interview thingy where the first day was very chill and the second we had the interview. It went great, the people at the school were very genuine.

2. UNLV - I have always like this school from the beginning but the location is always in question eh? The day went as expected here, had some good interviews with a student and faculty member. We stayed at a friend of Mimi's and played Guitar Hero and Marioparty on the Wii which was a serious good time.

3. UCSF - Great school for sure. I am not totally sure why I interviewed at UCSF because all the other applicants had much better resumes than I do but ever since I heard a rep come and speak at BYU I made a goal to get into UCSF because I knew it would be hard to get into. So we'll see. I did the best I could at the interview and then Mimi and I had a blast in San Francisco. We had awesome weather for two out of the three days there and the one day it wasn't so hot, we decided to ride a tandem bike across the Golden Gate Bridge. . .

We got absolutely soaked to say the least. Check out the back of Mimi's coat. We totally were not dressed appropriately for that trek. But we dried off and hit the town.

These are some Koreans we met at the interview. I think I was the only blue eyed, light haired person at the interview - minority right!!

P.S. This friday I can call Indiana and UNLV and find out my status, Arizona makes calls on Saturday and UCSF and Case I assume will be sending letters. We'll keep you posted!
