I LOVE MY CELLO!

After we moved to Las Vegas, I looked into joining an orchestra. Proudly to say, I am now a member of the Henderson Symphony Orchestra and we had a concert yesterday. It was so much fun to play again in an orchestra since I left BYU.

We played Blue Cathedral by Hidgon, Symphony no. 5 by Schubert, and Cello Concerto by Dvorak with a guest soloist whom I will be taking lessons from soon.

    looks like there was a good crowd.bet it sounded really nice. we are looking forward to when we can attend a performance.

    That sounds so fun. I played the flute all growing up and I don't make time for it anymore. I need to do that again.

    Awesome Mimi! I am so glad you are able to use your skillz! I got to play the bass a couple of times while Elliott was at UCLA and it was so fun, I hope I can join a symphony once life calms down!

    I'm so sorry I haven't stopped by for so long. I'm so excited that you get to be in an orchestra again...I wish I could hear my Mims play again! I just read through the rest of your blog and I'm so excited that you got a house! I love it! It looks like a Mimi house, which is a good thing! Congrats to Lincoln on starting the big school adventures, way to go! I've also been to Ruby's, on the pier right? I love that place! You guys are so cute, I shall need to call you if I'm ever down that way! Love ya guys!
