David 영호(榮祜)
We've decided and this is what we're naming him! It really wasn't hard for us to decide on the name. We love traditional names and names from family so we had no problem choosing his Grandpa's name. The middle name is pronounced Young-ho and follows after Mimi's Dad's name of Young-suk. These characters have several meanings or uses in Korean. The "Young" character means glory or glorious. The "Ho" character we chose means blessing or happiness.

We can't wait to see him! How can you go wrong with his name :)
ReplyDeleteit's perfect.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds perfect. David is going to be so cute! Half Asian children always are. No bias or anything :)

I'm so excited for you two! You are going to be the most amazing crazy and fun parents ever! Love the name, love that you're following family names...I'm currently in the name battle game myself and want to find a Japanese family name that sounds okay Americanized....our kids will only be quarter Japanese and it just wouldn't work...but you guys are completely culturalized....wish I could say the same. Love you guys, wish you were closer!
ReplyDeletei thought your blog was still private, so i haven't seen this until now! i'm so excited for a little David P. i even have some presents for him already.
