our little bundle of joy!

so david is already 6 weeks old and had his first shots last week.

he now weighs 12 lbs. 2.5 ozs. and measures 22.5 inches long (this means he is 1/3 my height...)!

he loves to smile, coo, sing, toot, burp, hiccup, kick, punch, stretch, squint, cat nap, eat, dance, take baths,

play (maybe too much and for too long), raise his left eyebrow, make an upside down smile with his lips,

point with his fingers (as shown in the previous post), stick out his tongue,

look at books/toys/surroundings, conduct the new york philharmonic, wiggle his toes,

have a "who-can-cry-the-loudest" contest, have staring contest, fight going to sleep,

and above all, he loves his daddy and mommy.

despite sleepless nights and lack of being able to accomplish anything else but meet the basic needs of our david,

i have grown to love him even more now that he started to recognize our voices and touch more.

i am so blessed and privileged to be a mom and have such a great husband

who rushes home from school each day

to play with our david and to let me take a shower.

i know it may sound disgusting but i rarely get a shower during the day anymore

but at least i get one right???
